How much can we customize the Rapid Guides?

As the author and sole provider of the Rapid Guide series, we own all rights to the material. As such, we can work with you to make any changes you require. Most customers provide us with “basic customizations” that include: colors, logos, contact information and a listing of their services offered.

Other customers add logos or advertisements supplied by 3rd parties in exchange for funding to sponsor (pay for) their Rapid Guides. Some have added new pages – for example, universities have added admission and internship information. Still others have tailored the Rapid Guides more specifically to their audience – for example, Job Hunting for Law Students.

We are moving information to our website, do we still need printed material?

Yes, most definitely.  In fact, the Rapid Guide program fits in exactly with this strategy. There is a lot of information available across the web but there are 3 problems:  1)  no one has time or patience to try to find the best material, 2) people don't always have the Internet available and 3) no one wants to either sit down and read page after page on their screen, or crank up the printer and print pages and pages of fragmented information.  Additionally, people also do not tend to read a 200 page book on these topics. Thus, they don't learn.  However, with Rapid Guide, your readers receive short, high-impact materials that give them core information organized and formatted in a way that gets prompts them to read and learn.

Guess what - at that point they want more information and help.  Since we have customized your Rapid Guides with your contact information (including web address) and services, they then head to your site for additional information and help. Can Rapid Guides be purchased anywhere else?

We are the authors and sole source provider of the Rapid Guide series. Rapid Guide is fully protected by the appropriate copyright and trademarks so that it cannot be legally copied or reproduced elsewhere. We do provide a non-customized, retail version of our Rapid Guides in our Resource Room and in select retail stores.



Isn't this information available all over the place already?

Yes, but that is the point. In today's culture, no one wants to spend time searching through websites, books and magazines looking for information. As odd as it seems, job hunters won't spend the time reading a full-length book or clicking through endless web pages - even though it can add thousands of dollars to their income. Also, other materials don't have the effective format exclusive to our Rapid Guides. Check the trash cans after job fairs – they will be full of other materials, but not Rapid Guides!

Likewise for financial aid, parents and students don't spend time researching the process and options for educational funding. However, just investing a little time following the steps and tips outlined in the “Rapid Guide to Financial Aid” can save them thousands of dollars on education.
